As a National Honorary Band Fraternity, music is obviously a big part of each brother's life. As students at a Science and Technology school, our brothers might differ from others. While our majors may not include music we have still decided to include it in our lives.
As a chapter, we include the other pillars in our music. This includes leadership, service, and brotherhood. Leadership looks like brothers as drum majors or drill captains for the marching band, or section leaders or principal chairs in other ensembles. Service includes different events like Senior Serenade. Senior Serenade is when brothers go to the local nursing home to perform for residents. This is a truly rewarding experience as the residents enjoy listening as much as the brothers enjoy playing. Service is also shown by members who are not apart of the marching band helping set up and assist with the band. Brotherhood is shown by the connections in the ensembles, rarely is there just one brother in an ensemble. This promotes brotherhood as other ensemble members see it and inquire more information about the Fraternity.
